CBF Field Guide to Underwater Grasses

Chesapeake Bay Foundation has created a new simple but effective identification key for the Chesapeake’s underwater grasses. The Chesapeake Bay Foundation Guide to Underwater Grasses includes a drawing, color photo, and key information for each 15 species of grass and two species of algae that grow from the non-tidal tributaries to the mouth of the Bay. The guide is already receiving warm reviews from the Bay’s scientific and volunteer community.
