Always a Halloween enthusiast, Allan Bennett volunteered a couple years ago to help with a haunted hayride. It was then that he knew he could do the local business bigger and better.

Bennett, a 26 year-old Baltimore native, is the brainchild behind Bennett's Curse House of the Vampyres, a 5,000 square foot haunted attraction
that will occupy the Arundel Mills parking lot in Hanover, Maryland during the month of October. With a newly purchased medieval castle facade, Bennett will open the doors to a show geared to an audience aged 10 and older.

"I'm an industry pioneer bringing the high quality haunted attractions found in other states to Maryland," says Bennett, who calls himself Maryland's King of Halloween. "We give people a great haunted show in a premiere setting
that is frightening, fun and keeps the blood, guts and gore to a minimum."

Bennett's Curse House of the Vampyres is a self-guided tour that will be open Thursdays through Sundays, 7:00 to 11:00 p.m., October 3 through November 1, 2002. During the week of Halloween, October 27 - November 1, it will be open every evening. Cost is $10 for adults and $8 for children 12 and under. Parental consent is necessary for children under 10.

Created by Bennett Productions, Bennett's Curse House of the Vampyres is a 5,000 square foot haunted attraction that debuted October 2001. President Allan Bennett, 26, is Maryland's self-proclaimed "King of Halloween" and a member of the International Association of Haunted attractions.
