The Helen Avalynne Tawes Garden Presents September Noontime Concerts

The public is invited to enjoy the soothing sounds of fall as the Helen Avalynne Tawes Garden staff present its Noontime Concert series. The events will take place on the relaxing Tawes Garden Terrace, located at the Maryland Department Natural Resources, 580 Taylor Ave., Annapolis, MD 21401. Each of the shows is free and is guaranteed to add a little spice to lunchtime.

• Concert #1 will feature the Caribbean rhythms of CAJE (Elizabeth Melvin & David Boothman) on Thursday, September 5th .
  


• Concert #2 will spotlight the four-part harmonies of SMART ALEX BARBERSHOP QUARTET on Thursday, September 12th.
  


• Concert #3 presents U.S. NAVAL ACADEMY BAND (a chamber group) on Thursday, September 19th.
  


• Concert #4 features the melodious sounds of CROSSWINDS, a woodwind trio on Thursday September 26th.

The concerts will begin promptly at 12 noon. In the case of inclement weather, the concerts are cancelled. Come early and get a good seat.
