Top chefs from across the Chesapeake Bay region will once again take part in the sixth Taste of the Chesapeake gala on October 12, 2002 at the B & O Railroad Museum in Baltimore, Maryland.
The annual black-tie benefit will feature Chesapeake Bay culinary specialties from the area’s premier chefs and honor the work of one of the region’s leading Bay advocacy organizations. Guests will also dance the night away to regional jazz sensation The New Legacy Jazz Band in the museum’s historic Roundhouse. As part of the evening’s festivities, the winner of a brand new 2002 Toyota Prius, the innovative electric/gas hybrid automobile, will be announced as well.
Chefs and restaurants interested in helping the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay protect and restore the Bay and its rivers by taking part in the event should contact Darrell Johnson at 410-377-6270. All proceeds from the Taste of the Chesapeake support the work of the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay.
