The Maryland Department of the Environment has launched a website that gathers conditions on ozone levels from 16 sites in the state and provides the information in real time online. "Ozone has been a continuing issue within the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast states, and is of particular concern to people suffering from asthma and other chronic respiratory conditions," the company said on Tuesday.
