Make sure you mark your calendars for the Solomons Charter Captains Association 1999 Chesapeake Bay Pro/Am Fishing Tournament coming up June 25, 26, and 27th. It's a three day weekend full of fun, fishing & festivities.

There is $92,800 in cash and prizes available, PLUS if you break the Maryland state rockfish record you win a new Dodge Pickup!

There's a full range of daily prizes, overall prizes, bonus bucks, and a 'Tournament within a Tournament' rockfish pool. The Grand Prize for the heaviest rockfish caught during the tournament is $5,000.

Entry fees range from $100.00 for a single day, private boat to $350.00 for all three days by a charter boat. Entries before June 1st will make you eligible for a drawing for the reimbursement of your base tournament fees.   Thursday, June 24, 1999 at 7pm
  Tournament Tent at Calvert Marina - Solomon's MD
  Take Route 2/4 south and follow the tournament signs. Burgers, Hot Dogs and Crab Cakes will be served.

• Beer and Bull Party
  Friday, June 25, 1999 6 till 9 pm
  $10/person
  BYOC - Bring your own catch (fillets only). We will cook your meal with all the fixins. We will also be serving burgers and hot dogs. A fish tale contest will be held with the best story teller receiving a new Penn 330 reel.

• A Hawaiian Luau
  Saturday, June 26, 1999 6 till 9 pm
  $25/person
  Featuring a pig roast, teriyaki beef, Hawaiian chicken, plus all the fixins. Island music and limbo contest! Meet the Coors Gals!
